The main purpose of the role is to undertake administrative tasks relating to the work of the Learning and Development department.
Main Responsibilities:
To liaise with the appropriate departments’ financial staff regarding external course bookings and payments.
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Learning and Development Department, producing a wide range of correspondence and course information.
To book delegates to courses liaising with HR staff, Duties staff and external customers
To update and maintain the training administration database with accurate and timely information regarding course availability, delegate bookings and attendance
To organise resources and ensure maximum attendance on courses, ensuring all necessary resources are provided and places filled.
To manage bookings in the headquarters overnight accommodation block, and liaise with the catering staff ensuring optimum use of facilities.
To deal with enquiries on behalf of all units within learning and Development and forward information to relevant parties
To provide or organise maintenance of classrooms and equipment daily and through exception reporting from internal trainers and external users.
To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.
Knowledge:
Educated to GCSE level, including English language
Experience:
Experience of office administration
Experience in use of databases
Key Skills:
Competent in use of IT including Microsoft packages
Communication skills
