Investigative Support Officer

Location: Rugby with requirement to travel to Nuneaton and Leamington Spa as required

The main purpose of the role is to Operate and supervise the use of the Home Office Large Major Enquiry System (HOLMES) and assist with the creation and management of exhibits.

Regular travel throughout Warwickshire.
The post holder will be required to work out of an assigned incident room in any part of the Warwickshire policing area.
The duties of this post involve exposure to disturbing/unpleasant images or tasks (e.g. Scene photographs, victim/suspect interviews, witness statements).
Post holder will be required to successfully complete the HOLMES indexer and exhibit courses and appropriate Casualty Bureau courses.

Successful applicants will be required to attend a 3-4 week training course on a full time basis
