We are seeking experienced Detective Constables to transfer to Warwickshire Police!

You will also be entitled to additional targeted variable payments twice each year.

(Detective roles in our child abuse; trafficking & exploitation; and domestic abuse and RASSO teams currently attract an additional payment (dependent on qualifications). This is subject to review each year and not guaranteed to remain in place after 2024)

If you are a current accredited Detective Constable with SCAIDP or SSAIDP training/accreditation (or equivalent) or have experience in dealing with High Risk Domestic Abuse, RASSO or Child Abuse and Exploitation, we invite you to join our force.  You must have successfully completed your probationary period prior to applying to join us.

Please note that many of our detective roles are designated posts and successful applicants will be required to undertake management vetting.

Recruitment and Selection Policy

Police Barred and Advisory lists


Individuals placed on the Police Barred and Advisory lists will not be considered for employment by the police for a minimum of 5 years from the date of listing in the case of gross misconduct, or 3 years from the date of listing in the case of poor performance.
